We’ve hired staff who know the natural gas utility industry from all angles – field work, operations, manufacturing, and more. Our team members are involved with industry associations to ensure we have the latest information on issues in the field. We have built, and continue to seek, strong relationships with leading supply chain vendors, so you have access to the latest products and best practices in the natural gas industry. And we’re always looking for communication tools that give you a streamlined process when working with GROEBNER and our team.
One of the tools we’ve worked on recently is our website. Especially important these days, your web interaction with GROEBNER is being upgraded to provide you a simplified, more efficient product shopping process. You’re seeing a new look on the GROEBNER site, ensuring ease of navigation and access to the many resources we have to offer. During this first phase, you will continue to have access to the GROEBNER catalog and submit quote requests to our expert sales staff like you have been doing. But as you click around, you’ll see product groupings and layout have been upgraded, making it easier to understand and select your product options. We’ll continue upgrading, with such steps as including manufacturer material and more product details right on the shopping page.
Our new online shopping update (more on this below) will be rolled out in a second phase. This two-phase approach will help ensure your ordering experience with GROEBNER runs smoothly all throughout the update process.
In phase two of the website update, we’re going to make your ordering experience flow even more smoothly. In the future, if you would like, you’ll be able to place your order online, just as you can on other eCommerce sites. As a registered user, you’ll be able to save items to your shopping cart and see your specific pricing before you place your order online. You’ll have access to your order history, as well. GROEBNER’s catalog will be up-to-the-minute, with access to our vendor networks’ latest products and pricing.
The phase two update will also provide an important addition for our customers that use an internal e-procurement application. Our upgrade will provide the ability to use your company’s own application to access GROEBNER’s catalog. This “punchout” capability means you will shop our catalog within your own browser frame. You add items to your shopping cart, and when you’re ready to check out from GROEBNER, all these items are drawn back into your e-procurement application. The order isn’t placed until you complete your company’s normal program workflow.
We’re working hard on phase two of our website update and excited to bring these changes to you in the future. But, just as with our current catalog, GROEBNER’s sales team will always be available to help you determine just the right product to suit your natural gas utility needs.
