Conditions of Sale

Prices: Market fluctuations and occasional errors make it necessary for us to reserve the right to change prices without notice. All accounts must be paid in U.S. dollars.

Quotations: Subject to prompt acceptance. We reserve the right to correct typographic errors and to reject orders if credit is found unsatisfactory. Prices submitted do not include taxes.

Account Payment: Net 25 days from date of invoice. Interest at the rate of 18% APR will be charged on all accounts unpaid 25 days after invoice date.

Recovery Costs: If legal action is necessary to collect on an open account, the customer shall pay the costs of collection of recovery, including without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees or other such additional fees as may be incurred in the collection of the account.

Taxes: GROEBNER will collect and remit sales or use tax imposed on most sales. If your order is to be tax exempt for any reason, please include a copy of your tax exemption certificate with your order.

Warranty Disclaimer: GROEBNER has made a diligent effort to illustrate and describe our products accurately, however, such illustrations and descriptions are for the sole purpose of identification, and do not express or imply a warranty that the products are merchantable, or fit for a particular purpose, or that the product will necessarily conform to the illustrations or descriptions.

Limited Warranty: Neither, we nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use any item sold by us. However, our obligation in lieu of all warranties express or implied, is to replace any item proven to be defective. Before using, the user must determine the suitability of the product for its intended use, and the user assumes all risk in connection therewith. Neither, we nor the manufacturer know or have reason to know the use to which the user will put the product.

Damaged Claims: We take great care in filling, checking and packaging your order. On rare occasions, a package can be damaged or lost in transit. If it was shipped parcel, make a note with the driver and call GROEBNER for a return authorization number and further instructions. If a LTL shipment is damaged, state shortage or damage on the bill of lading, then call us and we will immediately begin helping to resolve the situation to your satisfaction.

Returned Goods: Your complete satisfaction is our sincere desire. All returns are required to have a return authorization number and may be subject to a restocking charge. After 30 days, items are not returnable except for repair or replacement per the manufacturer’s warranty policy. We ask only that you please contact our customer service department for shipping instructions before returning merchandise.

Special Orders: Non-stock items ordered for you are normally not returnable.

Professional Use Only: The items on our website are intended to be used only by professionals in the utility industry. Supplemental training, permits, or licenses may be needed to use items we sell. Many items can be harmful if used improperly; if in doubt, do not use them. We strongly recommend reading and following the manufacturer’s warnings, instructions, and procedures carefully. Please contact GROEBNER before proceeding if you think you have a problem.
